One of my New Year's resolutions was to blog more. Since it's only mid-February, I think it's safe to say I'm on the right track!
We've been up to lots of exciting things since last time I posted. First of all, I graduated! I'm very happy to be done, but it was actually a lot less exciting than I had expected it to be. Especially the actual getting my diploma part. It was like the University was saying "We're so excited that you finished all of your course requirements that we're mailing you this piece of paper two months later!" Actually, I got two pieces of paper, one for each major. I guess that's cool, but I feel like it would be more exciting if they had put both majors on one piece of paper. Now, if I ever decide to frame them or something, I'll either have to frame them both or only display one, which is a dilemma that could have been easily avoided!
I've been working full time at USU since January. I work in a lab that mostly deals with genetic research. Most of my first month was spent organizing and doing lots of training, but I've finally started getting in to actual lab work, which is fun. Maybe I'll fill you in on more specifics later.
I've also been working out a lot more since January! My family is doing a weight loss challenge, so I've been extra motivated. I've been going to classes at the HPER mostly, but I'm looking to try new activities in case that gets boring.
Hmm what else? Christmas break was lots of fun. We went to Disneyland with Brian's family, which is always great. I should have taken more pictures than I did, but I couldn't find the charger for my little camera and I didn't want to lug the big one through the park all day. We're thinking we might take a trip to Florida this summer, which will be better documented for sure!
There have been about a million other things going on since my last post, but I don't think I can really do them justice at this point. Hopefully I'll be better from now on!
